Tokenization of Assets

As Innovation and technology continue moving rapidly, We will see a spike in Tokenization. In the next 5 – 10 years we will see almost all asset classes will become tokenized, from precious metals to actual land. Tokenization is simply the process of issuing a digital representation of an asset on a blockchain. These assets can include physical assets like real estate or art, and financial assets like equities or bonds. Industry leaders are forecasting that tokenization stands to change the structure of financial services and capital markets by letting asset holders reap the benefits of blockchain, with 24/7 operations and data availability.  Tokenization will also offer faster transaction completion and a higher degree of automation with smart contract functionality. Recently we just saw one of the Gold Bullion Banks of London begin tokenizing their gold, which is evidence of the future being among us.
